It's not super good, and for some reason a red border appears for the last half of the video ._. But I'll get better at editing in due time.

That's out of the way, so I'll talk about this picture. Copied and pasted from my tumblr post; 

"I hatched my very first (first shiny that I got from hatching at least) shiny Mudkip yesterday, just before I went to sleep! I am very happy >w< Oh yeah and I should mention that this guy finally came out after 1435+ eggs. Seriously, I didn’t know it would take THAT long…I thought I would get a shiny at about 600 eggs or something. I was using the Masuda method with a local Mudkip and a German Mudkip. Anyways, I’m glad that I didn’t quit and stuff."
